Fen Edge Orchestra is a friendly orchestra whose members play for fun, and which usually presents a winter and summer concert, performing in local venues.

Given the evolving situation in the UK due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FEO rehearsals are currently paused. However, we hope to resume COVID-safe rehearsals as soon as this is possible, and we are continually monitoring and following Government advice. See the COVID-19 page for more information. We will be in touch with all members by email as soon as we have any further information.

While we wait to re-start COVID-safe rehearsals, we are looking for more players and would love to hear from you. We don’t hold auditions and we are strictly non-competitive. In particular, we are looking to strengthen our 1st violin section, with strong, competent players that have previously played to Grade 7 standard. We also have a vacancy for a French Horn. See the Join FEO page for more information, and details on how to contact us.

Fen Edge Orchestra currently meets in Histon or Cottenham, just to the north of Cambridge city. We usually meet on Wednesday evenings.

Our Spring Concert was held on 14th March 2020 at Histon Baptist Church. £300 was raised from the retiring collection, in support of Jimmy’s, Cambridge:
